We are hard at work this season setting up new exhibits, events and collecting books for our wee gift shop.
There will be two new Mi'Kmaq exhibits this year, a natural history exhibit, an fun exhibit on hats (yes, you can try a few on.) and an exhibit featuring a piece of the Berlin Wall which we have on loan. These along with the many other exhibits on all three floors should make for an exciting year.
In terms of special events we are working on partnering up with the Mi'Kmaq Confederacy of Prince Edward Island, the Montague Library, Past time Hooked Rugs, local authors for book signings and hoping to offer a few learning workshops. Keep posted to website and facebook for updates.
